Alterations.
In most cases, dresses are not made to exact measure. we take your measurements and order your gown in the closest standard size as set up by the manufacturer. Gowns, even when specially cut for the bride, will require some alterations. Instead, they will use your measurements and our seamstresses will make the necessary adjustments for the gown to fit you properly.

Because Maria Romia seamstresses are familiar with our styles, we do not suggest that you have your gown altered elsewhere. Instead, let us use our professional expertise to alter your gown correctly to your body. If circumstances such as distance do not allow you to have the dress altered here, we would be happy to ship you the dress for a shipping fee.

For your ease, all dresses with trains as well as some veils can be bustled. Guided by the seamstress, the bustle will be discussed and approved by you before it is put into place. The bustle fee will be included in the charge of alterations.
